Quickbooks Setup

The initial set-up and installation of Quickbooks must be done correctly in order to have an accurate and informative set of books. When switching from a manual set of books to Quickbooks you will not only need to know which accounting method to use and what chart of accounts to use, but you will also need to know how to handle the input of your beginning balances and a host of other issues to properly implement Quickbooks. We can answer these questions and efficiently setup and install Quickbooks on your desktop. In addition, your accounting staff will need to receive comprehensive training to learn how to use Quickbooks.

During your Quickbooks set-up and installation, we will provide you with the following services:

  •     Evaluation of your accounting needs
  •     Installation of software
  •     Set-up of chart of accounts, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, etc.
  •     Entering beginning balances as of your Quickbooks start date
  •     Entering your outstanding accounts receivable and account payable detail as of your start date
  •     Entering your outstanding checks and deposits in transit as of your start date 
  •     Print your trial balance in Quickbooks and verifty to your trial balance in your old system for accuracy
  •     Train you or your staff in using Quickbooks to meet your needs

In addition to initial set-up and training of Quickbooks, we also provide follow up training and support on an ongoing basis.
